  3. Repayment of deducted tax due to decision regarding special income tax for non-residents (SINK)

    In order for the payer of your income (for example salary or pension) to deduct tax according to SINK, there must exist a decision from the Swedish Tax Agency. If there is no such decision, the payer will instead deduct preliminary income tax.

  7. Gambling tax

    From 1 January 2019, you will need to pay gambling tax if you have a gambling license from the Swedish Gambling Authority (Spelinspektionen). However, this does not apply to gambling for public interest purposes.

  8. Refund from tax account

    If you are due to receive a refund from your tax account, the money will be deposited into the bank account you have provided us. If you have not, you need to register a receiving bank account and request payment.

  9. Making payments to your tax account

    If you have tax to pay, you need to make a payment to your tax account. You can pay using Swish, your internet banking service, or a payment slip. You cannot pay by cash or cheque.

  10. Residual tax

    You can see on your final tax statement how much you have to pay, and by which date the money has to be in your tax account. You can pay your residual tax at any time before that date. Residual tax is also referred to as back taxes or tax arrears.
