The Swedish Tax Agency has developed an e-service that makes it possible to test CbCR files. The service checks that the file ends with “.xml”, that it is in the XML-format, that it can be validated with the OECD XML Schema and the additional rules that have been added by the Swedish Tax Agency.
It is important to point out that the service only tests in accordance with technical specifications. It does not check that the data content is correct. Such a check should be made before submitting the data. The XML file should be screened and compared to the data that you used when creating the file. The maximum size of the test file is 10 MB. Please follow the brief instructions below.
Here you should check the CbCR option button and then select which file you wish to test. After selecting a file, the test service can run and the chosen file will be checked.
The Test service will then indicate if the file was successfully validated or not. If the result is that the file is correct (it has been successfully validated), that result will be presented.
If the test result reports errors (the file does not validate successfully), the Swedish Tax Agency will not be able to accept the file. The test results should be checked against the Swedish Tax Agency technical specifications (SKV260 – CbCR).
Most likely, the file has not been built in accordance with the Swedish Tax Agency’s technical specifications (SKV 260 –CbCR). All format requirements are detailed in the Swedish Tax Agency technical specifications. The test service as well as the technical specifications are both updated to reflect the OECD version 2.0 XML Schema.
