The “Filöverföring” (“File transfer”) e-service allows you as a business owner to transfer files digitally to the Swedish Tax Agency. In order to use the e-service, you need to have a tax return software program that can create SRU files.
Use our e-service File transfer (in Swedish: Filöverföring).
The opening hours are seen in the white box next to the yellow log-in button. If the e-services are closed you see the text Stängd (closed) in the white box.
All the information on income tax return 1 and 2, i.e. the first page, annexes and other information, can be submitted via the file transfer e-service. The tax return is then signed in “Mina sidor” (“My pages”) by the client, an authorised signatory or a tax return representative. You can read more about the service here:
The files have to have the technical format specified in brochure SKV 269 (“Information about file transfer of Income tax return 1 and 2, as well as annexes and free text letters to Income Tax Returns 1, 2, 3 and 4”).
When you create an SRU file of the annexe you want to transfer, two files are created on your computer: info.sru and blanketter.sru. You need to transfer both files. You cannot rename the files once they have been created; if you do, the transfer will not work. The blanketter.sru file must not be larger than 5 MB.
Once you have transferred the files using the file transfer service, you will receive a receipt showing that the Swedish Tax Agency has received and been able to access the reported information. If there are errors in any of the files, these will be detailed in the receipt.
When a file is transferred, the information in the file is input directly to the Swedish Tax Agency’s system. You will not be able to view the transferred information in any of our e-services.
