How to file your tax return
Here are some guidelines on filing your income tax return
Are the details that have been entered in the prefilled form correct?
Start by checking the figures to make sure that all of the information is correct.
If all of the information entered in the tax return is correct and you do not wish to make any changes or additions to it, you can approve it. In some cases, you will need to enter some additional information – for example, if you are a business owner or if you have sold a residential property or some shares.

If any of the details in your income tax return are incorrect, you need to contact the party responsible for providing accurate information to the Swedish Tax Agency, such as your employer. Once the relevant party has submitted the correct details to the Swedish Tax Agency, the information will be updated in our e-service. You will then be able to file your income tax return using our e-service.
When details have been changed in your income tax return, you cannot file it by calling or texting us. If you file your income tax return using a paper form, you need to correct the details yourself since we will not send you a new paper tax return form.
