ID card
You can apply for an ID card (identity card) from the Swedish Tax Agency. The Tax Agency ID card is an approved form of identification within Sweden. You can use the ID card as proof of your age and identity at places such as pharmacies, banks or in shops.

Make an appointment for application of ID-card via the online booking of the Swedish state service offices.
The ID card also contains an electronic identification (e-legitimation). This can be used to securely prove your identity over the internet.
If you are a Swedish citizen, you can apply for a national ID card from the Police. Read more on the Swedish Police's website.
