You can report suspected tax fraud here, and can also remain anonymous. The information you provide can help us to prevent and combat tax offences.
Before you report information to us
We can only process information related to the Swedish Tax Agency’s activities. If the information you wish to report is not related to taxation matters, please contact the relevant authority instead – for example, the Swedish Police, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency or the Swedish Pensions Agency.
Do you want to report a population registration error?
If you want to notify us that someone is incorrectly registered at your address – or at another address – we have specific e-services for these purposes.
Keep this in mind:
- The person you report has the right to request a copy of the information you have provided. If you wish to remain anonymous, make sure you do not include any personal data by which you can be identified, such as your name or phone number.
- The Swedish Tax Agency needs to be able to identify the individual concerned. You should therefore tell us their name, address and personal or corporate identity number. If you do not have these details, you can provide the person’s phone number, company name, website and other relevant information that might help us to identify them.
- Describe the suspected matter, and say how long you think this situation has been going on. If possible, please specify the amounts of money involved, the extent of the suspected fraud, and details of any related Swish numbers, bank accounts, etc. that you know about.
- Due to confidentiality regulations, the Swedish Tax Agency will not be able to inform you of how we follow up on any information you provide.
