Processing times for population registration
Our processing times vary depending on the population registration matter you need help with, and whether any further investigation or additional information is required.
We process each case in order of receipt and do not give any cases priority over others.
Processing can take longer if you need to provide additional information
It is important for you to provide all of the information required to process your case. Double check that you have included all of the necessary information, and completed all mandatory fields on the form. This usually results in faster processing. Processing can take longer if we need to request additional information or supporting documentation. Further information is often available on the back of the form or in the e-service.
